Sadly not the first team, who lost in a close quarter final at Actonians, but our own Ronnie Robinson and Mark Freedman have been appointed to officiate at this years prestigious final. Ronnie is in the middle with Mark as 4th official.
It just goes to show what we already knew, Ronnie is a better referee than he was a player! Congratulations to both and good luck on Saturday Details of the final 27/4 Bank Of England Poly v Actonians 3pm ko

It is with great sadness to inform Members of the passing of our dear Member Liam O'Gorman. Liam was a very enthusiastic winger who played for 7thXI and captained our 8th XI known as 'The Foemen' in the 1970's and early 80's. Liam attended many Old Boy's Day's and although he moved away some years ago he kept in touch with the Club's results and was particularly pleased with this season's
performance. Our condolences are sent to his family Congratulations to Gary H and the boys on their promotion back to the 1st division.
Our club has a proud history of competing at the top level, and this team has proved over and over this season there is much to look forward to in the future. WALK TALL Norsemen Hawks U11 coach Theo Zamba met the team's sponsors Allison and Rob Paing from A&R Design to celebrate 3 years in partnership with each other.
Theo presented A&R with a framed Hawks shirt that Allison says will take pride of place in their boardroom. Theo said "On behalf of Colin and myself, the boys and all connected with the Hawks, I'd like to thank Allison and Rob for their support of the Hawks. Their continued sponsorship and belief makes a real difference to the team." Allison and Rob were thrilled with the shirt. Allison said "Rob and I are delighted to support the boys and we are so proud of how far they have come." |
