FINAL TIME!!!!!!!!

This Saturday Hawks made history by qualifying for our first ever cup final by beating SFA Santos!!
The Hawks put their all into this match and we came out victorious; even though there was controversy at the end with a Hawks goal ruled out in the last minute.
We got to semi-final last year and this time we weren't going out!
We had played this team in the league and had drew 1-1. The Hawks were off to a good start with a lot of chances created, we were by far the better team. SFA started to put pressure on us but the defence of Luke, Dexter and Taylan were clearing their lines. Jake was 1 on 1 with the keeper and it was a brilliant finish making the Hawks go one up. 1-0.
The second half was like ping pong, when SFA had a chance, we went on the counter. Then in the last minute George was through on goal, he shot, the goalie saved it and Tylan scored the rebound. But, heartbreak for the Hawks, the linesman gave it as offside. How could he make this call? Was he being fair?
It was full time and you guessed it, it was extra time! Hawks didn't give up, but there were not many chances to score. It was down to a penalty shoot out. The Hawks had a good history in shoot outs, with Arthur being outstanding in goal. It was three penalties each, SFA missed there third, but unfortunately Dexter missed and it was sudden death. Arthur saved and Jake scored to send Hawks through. We came here to win, not to go out again. We are in it to win it! COYNH! Seb Berndes No.8 Norsemen Hawks

Hawks win a tough battle

Norseman Hawks played this team earlier this season and had lost 4-1 but this time we won 3-0 which was very satisfying! In the opening ten minutes William was through on goal, he shot, but it just went past the post. Hawks got the break through when their player passed back to his keeper and Harry intercepted it,he took it past the keeper, shot and we found ourselves 1-0 up. Seb also had a volley however it skimmed the post, It was 1-0 at half time and the Hawks had battered Tottenhall. In the second half it was even for the first 5 minutes. Harry had a free kick, he shot it flew into the top corner and Norseman Hawks doubled their lead here at their home pitch. Tottenhall came back at the Hawks, but we kept cool and didn't let it bother them. Jake was outstanding today,he man marked their best player very well. There was only one minute to go and we were on the break Harry had the ball at his feet he passed to Seb, Seb took it passed the defender shot and it was a lovely finish with power and it went in the bottom corner. Norseman had the win that they really deserved.
