On a tricky 3G pitch, the Hawks fought back from 0-2 down to secure a hard earned 2-2 draw this afternoon.
Hawks tried to play their passing game in wet conditions against Harlow's long ball football. With Arthur away, Jake was in goal and played very well between the posts. The ball went from one end to the other until Harlow broke away to score but it was offside. It was another long ball to Harlow's strikers feet and it 1-0 at half time. It was more scrappy football in the second half and Harlow punished Hawks with another long ball to make it 2-0. Was Hawks 10 month unbeaten run coming to an end? The Hawks coaches changed tactics, adding more pace to our midfield and defence. Suddenly the Hawks passing game was back. A fantastic strike from Theo made it 2-1 and it was game on! 2 minutes from time the ball dropped to Harry H, it was 2-2, time for a Dele Alli 'eye celebration.' With a minute to go Hawks had two corners in quick succession but the ball just wouldn't go in. From a bad position, this draw felt like a win. Seb Berndes No.8 Norsemen Hawks

Hawks continue their running streak with a 3-1 victory against Pangshanger on Saturday. With Oran away, Luke, Dexter,Harry G, Olly and William worked hard in defence. It was a solid performance from Norseman with Harry H scoring two great goals from the edge of the box and Seb adding the third, taking the ball round the keeper. There was some good running and crossing balls from out wide by George and Dexter and Theo controlled midfield by keeping possession and his accurate passing. You could hear Arthur's voice all over the pitch getting everyone to get into shape to defend our lead. Despite a bit of '' sledging'' by some of the Pangshanger boys the Hawks produced their second win of the season. Seb. Berndes. no. 8 Norseman Hawks COME ON HAWKS!!!!
Harry Hales x 2 Sebastian Berndes x 1 The Hawks faced Newhall rangers on Saturday, a team new to us, so we didn't know what to expect. In the first 12 minutes it was a very even game, they had chances and we had chances, but Arthur made some great saves before Jake opened the scoring up with the first goal of the season, it was through the legs of the keeper to make it 1-0. Jake added a second to make it 2-0 after 18 minutes. It was coming to the end of the half when Dexter made it 3-0. The ref blew his whistle for the end of a very satisfactory first half. In the second half I was almost lost for words! We were playing some outstanding football throughout the match, keeping the ball and keeping possession Dexter soon ranked up a stunning hat trick, Oran and Taylan added a pair each and George, on his debut for the Hawks, scored one with Theo and Seb slotting home a goal each. The Hawks got a '#1victory royale' with a 12-0 scoreline !!!!!!!!! Keep playing like this Norseman.
