Derby Day for the lads Micha played ASTONISHING, he saved a penalty and a great shot, it was a well deserved man of the match. We had played very well bearing in mind that it was a rival game. James scored an amazing free-kick We had a solid defence. We had some decent shots unfortunately, their keeper saved them. One of which when Oliver shot, the keeper saved it and then it hit the post and rolled along the line then hit the other post!!! We couldn’t believe that it didn’t go in. It was a well deserved win from the lads December 1st 2018 Ronnie Hurndall Match Report Norseman U9’s Vs Ware U9’s
We were all excited to travel up to Ware for our match on Saturday. Ronnie was making his debut for Norseman. Before the match, Danny and Ricky set out the Shark team and everyone was ready to kick off. James scored first for Norseman and everyone on the pitch passed well, more than we usually do. Ronnie scored a goal on his debut. We played really well as a team and everyone tried their hardest. Norseman were unlucky not to score more goals but the defence and midfield was excellent as they put in hard tackles. Luke Pitcher played brilliantly and he put some brave tackles in and also scored a fantastic first goal for Norseman. Norseman had a great team spirit and everyone did well listening to each other. Come on Norseman! Olly Burns 8yrs old Team: Elliot, Mischa, Luke, Niall, Frank, Alfie, Ronnie, James, Charlie, Olly Man of the Match: Luke Pitcher Goalscorers: Olly 2 James 2 Ronnie 1 It was a beautiful day at the home of football.
The game kicked off both teams started very well. Norsemen were trying to pass the ball around which they have been working on at training. As the ball got closer and closer to the goal Frank took a shot sadly it got saved by the goalkeeper. The game was really tight, both teams finding it hard to score. Niall was really good in defence and Alfie, Elliot and James never stopped running and trying.Norsemen should have scored loads of goals, but they couldn’t get the ball on target or the Ware goalkeeper was saving all the shots.suddenly Oliver broke free at took a lovely shot pat their goalkeeper and norsemen had won the game!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well done to all the boys. MOM Niall for really good defending. Kaz No1 Fan Scorers: Oliver 5, Jackson
Man of the match - Oliver Oliver made spectacular crosses and played as a striker for some time. Elliot was superb in defense. Norsemen had some amazing attacks on goal.
