Committee
A Committee, including all captains, elected for the forthcoming season by the members of the club at the Annual General Meeting in May, manages Norsemen F.C. If positions are vacant after the AGM the Committee may fill them at a later date.
The Committee meet regularly before the start of each season to plan and organise for the season ahead. When the season starts, meetings take place every Tuesday at the club commencing at 7.30 pm. This meeting, chaired by the Club Chair, hears match reports from Captains, selects sides for forthcoming fixtures and deals with disciplinary issues.
On the first Monday of every month a Business Meeting also takes place chaired by the Club Chair. This meeting deals with a range of financial and policy issues and receives and discusses progress reports.
A representative from Norsemen Youth F.C, usually the Chair, attends Business Meetings to ensure there are effective communications and a good working relationship between the two sections.
If you want matters raised at Committee please let your captain or a committee member know. We are always very pleased to hear your views and deal with issues that matter to you.
