CHAMPIONS: Norsemen Reserves clinch the Title.

Norsemen Res XI clinch the SAL Intermediate Div 2 title with a 1-1 draw against their only title contenders NUFC Oilers in a hard fought game at Hanwell Town FC under floodlights last night.
Massive congratulations to Joe Morris & Jack Robery who have led this young side to the title.
They took the lead midway into the first half through their talisman Charnce Dash who scored his 38th goal in 18 matches for the Reserves this season.
Oilers fought back and were a different team to what visited Norsemen on Easter Saturday and equalised on 30 minutes as well as hitting the woodwork soon after..
However, the defence stood firm in the second half with Jack Robery commanding behind them between the sticks.
This is a great achievement for a group of young lads who have come back to Norsemen following some disciplinary issues. They have shown great enthusiasm for the club this season and although the discipline needs to be curbed, hopefully another year will start to improve on this, which is much needed by our great club.
WALK TALL YOU BLUE GIANTS!!!!

It's brilliant to see this team of talented players win the league for Norsemen FC.

Hopefully we can look on this as a turning point for the club and transfer some of this positive success through the teams at the mighty Norsemen!

WALK TALL!
