Its with Great sadness we announce the passing of Norsemen Legend Forbes Chapman aged 82.
Forbes joined Norsemen in the Mid 1950's soon after arriving from his native Scotland and was an ever present in our first XI for many years.
Following his retirement from playing Forbes entered the world of coaching taking his preliminary badge to become Norsemen 1st XI manager.

Forbes then continued this path becoming manager of the AFA Rep side from 1988 role he enjoyed great success with over a 25 year period.
Forbes also become president of the AFA from 2011 - 2013.

A very keen golfer and president at his 3rd home Bush Hill Park Golf Club.

A great man and will be sadly missed by family, friends, and across amateur football.

Forbes funeral details are below, all are welcome to attend.

Norsemen Football club mourned the death of their Norsemen Legend Forbes Chapman. He had a lot of contributions to the club, and they have just lost an icon. He may be gone for now, but his legacy will continue and will always be remembered even by the new and upcoming members of Norsemen Football Club. I was really sad when I heard the news. He is familiar to me because you shared several articles featuring him when he was still alive.
