Norsemen lose a stalwart.

It is with much regret that I have to inform you of the passing of a former ‘Great’ Norsemen characters, David Abbey.

He was 73 years of age and passed away last Saturday following a short illness.

Dave played at the top level of Cricket for Edmonton CC and Middlesex CCC as well as one of our greatest 1st XI Goalkeepers for someone so short during the 60’s & 70’s.

Always a great entertainer on the field and in the bar.

Our thoughts are with his family at this sad time.
