With our President sunning himself in the Caribbean, I hereby bring you his report for last Saturday.
No games for the 1st & Res XIs due to having played many games, which allows for others to catch up. Sadly the planned friendly arranged for the Res XI was cancelled due to opposition unable to field a team.
However, the 4th XI with a 2-1 victory over Alexandra Park 5th XI assures them of the League Championship that they have so deserved, but failed to deliver despite be Runners Up for the past 3 seasons. Well Done to Shane Killick and his team who have been outstanding all season.
Walk Tall You Blue Giants!!!
The 5th XI returned to winning ways with a very good win over Old Lyonians 3rd XI 2-1.
An excellent 4-2 victory for the 6th XI against Old Stationers 3rd XI helps to keep them in the chase for their League Title, although it will be a tough ask.
The 7th XI returned to playing again following Postponements and a lack of arranged games with a fine 2-1 win at Crouch End Vampires.
