Carrying on in the absence of our illustrious President who was still sunning himself at the weekend.
The 1st XI had a Home fixture against Old Salesians who managed to get a team to North London on this occasion and despite battling well fell away in the second half allowing Norsemen to run out 5-0 winners and maintain their charge for the Div 3 title.
It would appear that they need 5 more wins form their 8 remaining games to guarantee the title subject to other teams winning their fixtures.
Sadly we have to report that the Res XI will be relegated following their 1-3 defeat at Home to CEV Res XI. The team have battled well and have a good spirit, lets hope they stay together and come back stronger next season.
The 4th XI had another victory making it 14 out of 15 victories and only have 1 remaining fixture this week.
The 5th XI had no game this week.
The 6th XI were held to another 0-0 draw at Crouch End Vamps this week, that is 2 0-0 draws in a season which is almost unheard of at 6th team level.
The 7th XI lost 3-1 away to Old Lyonians which hampers their charge for promotion.
Our President will be back for next weekend and will resume his reporting next week.
