President's Patter for 27th Sept 2014

Not a good weekend results wise for the club, the 1st XI had no game due to mass unavailables.
Our new look Res XI lost their first game after 2 wins the fact that half the team had returned from a week in Ibiza at 6.30am did not help, but they showed encouraging spirit in scoring two late goals.
The 3's had to postpone their game due to disciplinary issues, the 4th's scored in the last minute to beat the Hill and the 5/6/and 7s all suffered narrow defeats.
Once more we seem to be in disciplinary problems with the league, we never seem to learn that antagonising the referee is the most counter productive thing to do as we all know they never change their minds and if you get on the wrong side of them they generally wreak their revenge.
The main ground will be ours for the first time this week so if any of our old players are around come and watch the 1st team in action against Ibis and have a beer with me.
