President's Patter for 4th Mar 2017

2/3/2017

A very good day at the club with goals galore, fortunately most of them in our opponents net.
The 1st XI had no game and the Reserves who were relegated last week took on Old Finchleians in a rare game these days, a friendly. They looked too good to go down which gives hope of a good season next year and had a convincing victory over a team who finished high in the league.
The all conquering 4th XI completed their league fixtures with a convincing 4-1 win against Old Parks finishing with 15 wins out of 16, this is a magnificent achievement and they need to move up to a stronger league next season to find out how good they really are.
The 5th XI kept up there promotion hopes with a good 5-2 win against Broomfield Reserves.
The 6th XI had no game but the 7th XI had a great win, 8-0 against table toppers Alexandra Park giving them a good chance of promotion.
WALK TALL YOU BLUE GIANTS!!!!
