President's Patter for 6th Sept 2014

Was not around this weekend attending my younger sons wedding in New York, wow those Glaswegians can drink.

Disappointing result for 1st team losing at home to a new team who were only in the reserve section last season.This is going to be a tough league and without our strongest side every week we will not compete at the top which must be our minimum ambition.                                                               The reserves had a good win against Actonians who are usually strong and the 3s also triumphed against Vamps in their first league fixtures of the season.

We have had a good influx of new players and the return of some players who had previously been with us.                  To be successful everybody must buy in to us being run as a club and not 7 individual teams and the need for our discipline to be much improved with minimum avoidable cautions.                                                                                             A full fixture list this week, lets get off to a flyer.
