President's Patter for Saturday 16th January 2016.

Our worst week of the season, one draw and five defeats.
The 1st XI playing for the first time in four weeks, made the long trip to Carshalton who were at the
bottom of the league and drew 1-1, a set back to our promotion hopes, there are three teams in it and we travel to one of them South Bank Cuaco this week, we really need to win this game.
The Reserves lost 3-0 to Polytechnic in the AFA Middx/Essex Intermediate Cup and leave our 5th XI as the sole survivors of challenging for a Cup this season.
The 3's perhaps unwisely played on the big pitch and lost 4-3 to Old Finchleians.
The 4's and 5's both lost to AP and the 6's were heavily beaten by the Vamps.
Good to see Tony Papworth at the club, he collapsed whilst jogging last June and was brought back from the dead by his running partner who had training in emergency recovery. Following major Heart Surgery we are pleased to say that he has made a miraculous recovery. He shall now be known as Lazarus.
I will be away for the next few weeks and will be handing my pen over to my able deputy.
