President's Patter for Saturday 5th December 2015.

My first view of the Reserve team for a few weeks, as mentioned before they are in a tough league and have had some heavy defeats. This week they had a cup game against Old Parks who are well placed in the league. We probably had our strongest team out and put up a great display of football showing great spirit and winning the game 3-1 It was good to see one of our returning veterans Reggie score two goals.
The 1st XI travelled to Old Manorians in the AFA Senior Cup, a small pitch and impossible wind were blamed for our 3-2 defeat.
The 3rd XI had a good win 5-0 away to HSBC, yet again you know who claiming a Hat Trick.
The 4th XI beat AP 6-1 in a closer game than the score suggests. They were 2-1 with 10 minutes to go, but finished well and forced AP into conceding 2 Own Goals. Yet again their talisman Shane Killick managed to score a brace.
The 5th XI continued their rich vein of form with a 3-1 win against Old Lyonians to keep them top of their division.
The 6th XI lost a hard fought battle 2-4 to Old Stationers 4s.
The 7th XI had no game this week.
A review of the season so far leaves us with three teams in first place and one team in second place in their respective leagues keep up the good work and we can make strides in our ambition to return all our sides to their top divisions. WTYBG
