Hard Work Pays Off!

The U12's earned a hard earned draw at home to HMH Panthers in the WFL Green Division on 18/10/2018.
Norsemen bossed long periods of play with excellent wing play from Jorge Dos Santos and Jake Coles supported by Harry Hales but they couldn't force the goal due to some heroic defending and a bit of bad luck.
After half time we were unlucky to go one behind when Evan Burgess saved a free kick and the opposition were first to the rebound, however we came back strongly, George Kamoga stormed forward from midfield to smash a shot across the keeper and into the corner. We then enjoyed a spell of pressure with several corners and eventually it told with Arthur Weaver lashing into the roof of the net.
We couldn't hold on and a free kick into our box deflected to an opponent who gleefully stabbed home.
