Well it had to come to an end our 100% record. On Saturday we entertained last years finalists Old Meadonians who lay second in the AFC premier division so we knew that we were playing superior opposition to that faced before this season. The match was one of the best seen at Hydeside for a very long time a hard physical match but played in the right spirit and ended with us losing 4-3 aet.
A great effort by our lads who could easily have won but for a couple of slips in defence and some missed chances.
​In the rest of the games the reserves continued their good runs with a 7-1 win over HSB the fours lost 2-3 to Poly,the sixes lost 2-1 to Civil Service and the sevens came back to form with a 7-1 win against AP
We had a good turn out on the line Sat well done to the 5th Xs for turning out in strength. This week we are away in the cup to Winchmore Hill KO 1.30 your support will be appreciated
