What a wonderful summer like day to hold our annual Presidents lunch.
60 people gathered covering many years of being a Norsemen and 6 matches played including a Vets side for the first time in recent memory.
The results on the day were excellent the first team had tough opponents in Bank of England who were relegated from Div one last season, this was a very good game played in an excellent spirit  and we maintained our 100% record with a 2-1 victory.
The Thirds who are in a tough division lost 3-1 to AP and badly need a win to get their season going.
The fours had a great win 7-1 away to Old Finchleians and the fifths maintained their good form with a 2-1 win against the Hill.
The sixes also had a good win 4-3 against AP.
You will note the absence of a Reserves result sadly their “ friendly” against Broomfield was abandoned by the referee. A club of our standing should not get involved in this sort of incident however provoked.
The same people seem to get involved each time and we have to ask ourselves do we want these people to continue to put our good name and reputation at risk!
