We played this team before Christmas and won 2-0 in a friendly but this time it was even better! It was definitely going to be difficult because it was a cup match and nobody wanted to go out in the first stage of the competition. Potters Bars began strongly but Norseman's strength got to them and we were back in control of the game. Harry H scored the first goal with some nice build up in midfield from Theo and Seb. There was more Norsemen pressure, their goalie cleared, it went straight to Jake who scored a long range strike. The defence was strong with great tackles from Luke and and Dexter.
The second half had more great football from the Hawks. Olly was playing well in midfield, George played a spectacular ball to Harry H who bamboozled his marker, crossed it for Taylan who scored a calm finish. Oran was being an engine in midfield, Harry G was calm at the back so Arthur had another clean sheet in the bag.
We can't wait for the quarter finals and we hope we can go all the way this year!
